Oh dear Lifehacker writer, you should know better that piracy is only one part of problem why folks are not buying DVD/Blu-Rays. People are not going for the $$ tix prices, DVD prices, download limits, ie: DRM limits from propriety or geographical limits like Hulu. Piracy will have to speak to free streaming on the Internet. That is their biggest threat!
