The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a Geneva-based non-profit foundation best known for its Annual Meeting in Davos, Switzerland which brings together top business leaders, international political leaders, selected intellectuals and journalists to discuss the most pressing issues facing the world including health and the environment.

There are maps, statistics, gadgets, widgets, websites, Twitters, and endless amount of text messages to inform the voters for the 2008 US Presidential Elections. Now at this page, these collection of items or sites are of interest that I stumbled upon online.

Starting at around 6 p.m. Eastern time, when polls close in a handful of states, we’ll be presenting you with two versions of the United States map: a statewide view that will allow you to track each states as it is called (or as each candidate builds up a lead), and a county-by-county view that will display the counties in which returns have begun to arrive. The counties will be shaded according to the candidate who is ahead.
